Give Him your problems

He loved us first…

I usually let the picture and the scripture talk and I don’t add much to these but in the political climate that we are living in today something else needs to be added.

God LOVES us. It is not in the past tense. He always loved us, long before most of us were born and He loves those who aren’t here yet as well. The point of this is that He took the first step toward us, so when we feel Him trying to get our attention we should do the same. But…do we take that step? Some of us do and some of us wait, then some just walk away from Him.

But you can’t walk away from God because He is always there. Wherever you are and whatever situation you may be facing. Especially when He has a plan for your life that will bring Him glory. Many people would read that and say that God is seeking credit for Himself and He does to a certain extent. But…God doesn’t seek glory like we do. His reason and purpose for seeking His glory are to let others know how good He is at taking care of our problems. Our pains, our misconceptions, our fears, and even the keys that are missing are all important to Him.

Anything that is important to us in our walk with Him is important to Him as well. Sometimes it is hard for us to imagine that the Creator of the universe could possibly care about where my keys are but He does. Consider what Jesus said about the sparrows: “My father knows even when one of the sparrows fall to the ground“. One of the smallest birds that flit and flies on Earth, yet God knows where each of them is and He notices when one of them dies. If the Creator notices when a small bird dies, don’t you think He cares for us even more? He created each of us in His image and He knows how many hairs we have on our heads.

Yes, God loves us and He cares for each and every person, whether we care about His attention in our lives or not is immaterial. He loves us. Don’t you think we should give Him some love as well?

Wisdom for Life

You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before deciding to be happy. Nightbirde

The quote above is from an AGT contestant who died from cancer. She was fighting it while trying to gain a spot on America’s Got talent. It really is true and sad at the same time that she was such a good singer and yet cancer took her away before she could realize her dream. Her attitude toward life is inspiring and humbling too but it is one that I believe we should all try to live every day.

God didn’t bring this pandemic on the people of the world for punishment, He allowed it to happen because people need to wake up and look to Him for healing and salvation. Unfortunately, many younger people seem to be turning away from a religion of any kind. In some areas, there seems to be an awakening of those who need to turn to Jesus and many people are giving their hearts to Him. The difference is in the reaction of our nation and the world itself.

It seems that many people in the media and on social media as well are turning their backs on any news that relates to Christian salvation. Whether it is happening in America or somewhere else it is a good thing, but the media is still ignoring it. This is something that I cannot understand. Why? Because salvation is good news and the media doesn’t want to publicize “good news”. I would rather hear two minutes of good news than twenty minutes of drug commercials and ten minutes of news blurbs.

Life is hard sometimes but when you depend upon God for your provision and for your salvation, life will work for you and not against you. God can make that happen if you will let Him do it. I know that we tend to think “I can do this myself”; no…you can’t do everything yourself. God loves us and He intended for us to walk through life with Him. Acting like a toddler and saying “I can do it myself” is a sure way to find out that you can’t. God gives us the strength and the ability to do everything in our life, but it works better when we realize that we need Him to be in it with us.

The entire world is speeding toward a time when life itself is going to be harder to live. Food and shelter will be hard to come by and other necessities will be more expensive. Some to the point of being beyond many people’s ability to pay. We are truly living at the very edge of the time foretold in the book of Revelation so I implore you to seek your Savior as soon as possible and give your heart to Him, repent of your sinful life and begin serving Him while there is time. The day of the rapture of the church is approaching. I don’t know when but it is not far away. It is much closer than it has ever been before.

Be courageous!

Accommodating sin is wrong

Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD. Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD. And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. Two commandments that matter

He took your place

I saw this on Facebook and it seems to be needed today.

This should wake us up. One day, a man went to visit a church, He got there early, parked his car and got out. Another car pulled up near the driver got out and said, ” I always park there! You took my place!” The visitor went inside for Sunday School, found an empty seat and sat down A young lady from the church approached him and stated, “That’s my seat! You took my place!” The visitor was some……………what distressed by this rude welcome, but said nothing. After Sunday School, the visitor went into the sanctuary and sat down. Another member walked up to him and said, “That’s where I always sit! You took my place!” The visitor was even more troubled by this treatment, but still He said nothing. Later as the congregation was praying for Christ to dwell among them, the visitor stood up, and his appearance began to change. Horrible scars became visible on his hands and on his sandaled feet. Someone from the congregation noticed him and called out, “What happened to you?” The visitor replied, as his hat became a crown of thorns, and a tear fell from his eye, “I took your place..” Once you read this, say a prayer.. That’s all you have to do. There is nothing attached. This is so powerful. Just re-post if you want to, and maybe, just maybe, we can get the world to start thinking of WHO took our place!!!..

Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom

Grace…

God gives us His grace. We, as Christians, have been touched by God through grace and it is because of His grace that we can be saved through faith in Jesus. God does this because He wants a relationship with us, which is why He created us in the first place. He doesn’t want us to mindlessly follow Him but to want to follow Him and love Him. That’s why we have been given the gift of choice. Although many of us choose to be stubborn and follow our own ways rather than His.

This is why there are so many religions. We create our version of “god” so that we can relate to him and still enjoy our own ideas of living a happy life. The problem with this is that the “god” that we create is a false god and it cannot help us in any way at all. God can help us in every way that we need. He is our Creator and Redeemer! God loves us and cares for us better than we know ourselves. When you are praying to God, Elohim of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, you are speaking to your Creator and Redeemer who formed you in the womb. He knew you even before you were born.

These “gods” that we create in our minds, even if it is based upon our idea of Who God is, are false gods and are not real. People may say that they don’t practice idolatry but when you hear someone say, “my god would never send someone to hell”, that is exactly what they are doing! They have created a god that they can understand and who will allow them to be themselves without having to worry about “commandments” and going to church.

God gives us grace through faith in Jesus Christ and it is because of this that we can come to Him and know Him and be known by Him. It is not because of anything that we have done or any amount of attendance of services. We cannot be good enough to earn our salvation because it was paid for by Jesus for us. It is a gift from God the Father to each of us who will believe in Jesus Christ for our salvation. Period.
