Jesus is God!

There are three Persons of the Trinity. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All of them are powerful, loving, and omniscient in power and glory. All of them had a part in Creation on the first day and from that point on they have worked to bring humanity to know Them, yet we have tried to hide from them. We have tried to get rid of any mention of them in education and we want to limit any reference to the Word, the Bible, that is God’s Word. He expresses His love for mankind throughout the Bible. He also expresses His sorrow at the ways that we move away from Him, so why are we surprised when calamities come from natural weather and from mankind who ignore His teachings?

Today, many people don’t go to church, yet we wonder why so many problems and diseases are so rampant in our world today? We have pushed God out of education and out of many homes as well, yet when tragedy strikes, where do people go for comfort and sometimes repentance? One of the times that the churches were full was the Sunday after 9/11 but we didn’t truly humble our lives to God. We demanded why did this happen? God doesn’t owe you or me an explanation for anything that He does to get our attention. For some people, it worked and for some, it drove them from the church.

God is The Creator and our Redeemer, He doesn’t owe you or me anything. We owe Him EVERYTHING!

A dark place

Satan brings me to this place more often than I would like. It is subtil, like he is, but depression sneaks up on you when you least expect it.

This is something that I’ve never really told anyone, not even my wife. Depression is an ugly feeling but it is also a disease as we know it today. It is one that claims lives and careers and families. It can make the strongest of us feel vulnerable and weak and insignificant and I have been walking around with it for years. I have tried to hide it until I can’t anymore. The only remedy that I have found for it is reading God’s Word, especially the book of Psalms. The Psalms don’t heal the depression but they do remind me that God is bigger than my fears and my depression. I need prayer from all of you and I pray that He will hear each and every one. What are we waiting for?

If you are a born-again Christian, like me, you are waiting for the “rapture” or the taking away of the Church! Most of the world is waiting for some form of the Anti-Christ and he will be here after the Church is gone. Because of the chaos that will happen after that event, the world will need someone that is charismatic enough to bring everyone together. That is the Anti-Christ or the Beast of the book of Revelation.

Why is the world waiting for him? Because many of them don’t know Christ as their Savior and they don’t believe that He is the Messiah. Some even believe that the Anti-Christ is their messiah.

I am not trying to judge anyone’s belief here, just stating facts found in God’s Word because His Truth is the only Truth. Make sure of your salvation while there is still time to do so.
