And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21 KJV https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/mat.1.21/398

The Angels of God announced His birth to the mother and the man who will raise Him and on the night of His birth a host of them announced to the shepherds that Christ had been born in Bethlehem. Yet, the priests of God did not recognize the signs of His birth. Why? Were they even looking for Him to come?
They were looking for their Messiah but they didn’t expect Him to come as a baby and they didn’t pay attention to the Scripture saying that “he shall be called a Nazarene”. No prophet says this directly but that the Messiah would be counted as someone of low estate and despised by men. He was looked down on because of His hometown of Nazareth in the district of Gallilee although He was born in Bethlehem, the city of David.
God the Son came as a baby because He needed to live as one of us. He had to be tempted as one of us and feel pain and sorrow and grief as one of us so He could completely identify with our weaknesses. He did all of these and much more during the time that He was here to fulfill the prophecies about Him and to bring a message to those who would listen. He healed many diseases and raised some from the dead and He restored the sight to some, hearing to others, and the ability to speak to others.
Jesus also multiplied a boy’s lunch to feed over five thousand people and He calmed a storm on the sea just by saying “Peace, be still”. He even walked on the water to come to His disciples while they were in that storm. No ordinary man could do these things! He was much more than a prophet, He was the Son of God and the Savior of the world!
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:32 NIV https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/eph.4.32/274

This is a message that all of us should take into our lives each day. Many times we are hurt by what someone says or by something that they do and sometimes this happens more often than it should. Christ said that we are forgiven but we should also forgive each other. Sometimes those faults or slights that happen, on a daily basis for some, are unintentional and sometimes they aren’t but we should forgive and seek forgiveness just as Jesus did for those who crucified Him. Remember, it was our sins that nailed Him to that cross and He forgave us anyway.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Philippians 4:4 NIV https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/php.4.4/19122

Be joyful, not because it’s Christmas but because Jesus Christ died for you. He made it possible for you and me to live in eternity with Him. We can’t get to heaven without knowing Jesus as our Savior. I pray that all who read this will seek Jesus for salvation because the time is growing short.
By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones. By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment. Hebrews 11:22-23 KJV https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/heb.11.22-23/79447

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is proven because He lives! He is coming back to rule humanity one day soon! These are proven because they are in God’s Word! One has already happened and the other is a promise from God and He doesn’t break His promises.
God has loved humanity, the whole human race, since before He created the Earth so I don’t believe that He has abandoned us as some may believe. God is in control and everything that is happening is being brought about by His sovereign power. There are no surprises from His point of view because He lives outside of time. He knows what is happening now and what will happen tomorrow and many years ahead as well.
God provided a way for us to have salvation through Jesus Christ alone. To some, this may seem “exclusive” but His Word says that “through Him is the only way to salvation“; granted, I paraphrased it but you get the idea. From the thief on the cross, all the way to anyone to calls on His name today and until the church is taken up to be with Him, Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven…period.
Make sure that you are ready because when the Trumpet sounds and the dead in Christ come out of their graves to meet Him in the air and those of us who are alive and remain in Him will meet Him as well, there will not be a second chance. If you don’t rise to meet Him then you will have to accept Him or reject Him and you will have to live through the Tribulation. By accepting Him now you can escape the trials of the Tribulation because it will be like hell on Earth during that time. I pray that you will come to know Him if you don’t already.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12 KJV https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/jhn.8.12/67211

This post is about only one piece of news: Jesus is the Messiah and the Savior of the whole world!
He came as a baby and was born in a stable with only a feeding trough for a bed, wrapped in swaddling cloths. God came to us in human form as Jesus the Christ. Born of the virgin Mary, betrothed to Joseph. He came to live as one of us, tempted as we are and feeling all of the pain and the problems that we have but He did it without sin. Something that we can’t do on our own.
Jesus came not to rule or to reign as a conqueror but as the Savior of mankind! In the few years of His ministry, Jesus healed many of their afflictions and raised some from being dead. He saved us from being dead toward God because of our sins and He gave us the ability to come before God with our prayers and our problems. We need to take this information out to the world around us and let everyone see that Jesus is the only way to be saved from our sins and from hell itself.
So, why did God send His Son to be the Messiah, the Savior of the whole world? Because He loves all of you so deeply He didn’t want any of you to be separated from Him. But, there are always going to be some people who don’t want to live as a Christian believer in Jesus and His sacrifice. Why? Because they want to help God save them by doing some things their way and not God’s way. Sounds a little crazy doesn’t it? I mean, why would God need our help to save us from an eternity in hell? The answer is…He doesn’t! All that we need to do is believe that He loves us enough that He made it possible for us to have salvation through His Son, Jesus, just by believing in Him and the work that only He could accomplish. That’s how the thief was saved. All that he could do was ask Jesus to remember him when He came into His Kingdom and Jesus told him that “today you will be with Me in Paradise”.
It only takes belief in Jesus’ atonement for you and a determination to follow Him for the remaining time that you have on Earth.

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: He uttered his voice, the earth melted. The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Come, behold the works of the LORD, What desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Psalm 46:1-11 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.46.1-11.KJV
Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 KJV https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/1th.5.16-18/67219
