Love one another

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 1 John 4:11 KJV https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/1jn.4.11/1582

Giving your tithes

But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: Matthew 6:3 KJV https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/mat.6.3/60145

Our Savior is alive!

Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:14 KJV https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/luk.2.14/44265

Joy because they found Jesus, the Messiah

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. Matthew 2:10‭-‬11 KJV https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/mat.2.10-11/67202

God knew you before you were born…

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvellous are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, When I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; And in thy book all my members were written, Which in continuance were fashioned, When as yet there was none of them. How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them! Psalm 139:14‭-‬17 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.139.14-17.KJV

God picked your parents and the place where you would be born and the place where you would live. Why would He do that? Because He knew that you would have an impact on those who live near you. Because you would be His one day and your witness would be needed in the area where you live. Why does God do this? Because He is in control and He determines the fate of mankind for His purposes and His glory. He raised up the Pharaoh that Moses would ask to let Israel go, He raised up Nebuchadnezzar to punish Israel because of their disobedience.

Since God uses the rulers and Presidents of the world to perform His will around the world, He can determine your path and your work in this world for Him. God can use you to perform His will when you don’t accept Jesus as your Savior. All of life and everything in creation is ordained by God to work the way He has determined for it to do…including everything that we do. The time of the church and the Gentiles is coming to an end soon, make sure that your belief is anchored in Jesus Christ, the Savior.

God is with us!

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 KJV https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/isa.7.14/5778

For unto us in the city of David is the King of Kings born to rule the Earth one day with a rod of iron. This is the One that was prophesied in the book of Genesis. He came as a baby the first time but He will come again as the Messiah and King. His Kingdom will have no end from that day forward. Praise the Lord!

Our Savior, Jesus Christ

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21 KJV https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/mat.1.21/398

The whole world will know…

For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14 KJV https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/hab.2.14/388

Who is this Baby?

The Angels of God announced His birth to the mother and the man who will raise Him and on the night of His birth a host of them announced to the shepherds that Christ had been born in Bethlehem. Yet, the priests of God did not recognize the signs of His birth. Why? Were they even looking for Him to come?

They were looking for their Messiah but they didn’t expect Him to come as a baby and they didn’t pay attention to the Scripture saying that “he shall be called a Nazarene”. No prophet says this directly but that the Messiah would be counted as someone of low estate and despised by men. He was looked down on because of His hometown of Nazareth in the district of Gallilee although He was born in Bethlehem, the city of David.

God the Son came as a baby because He needed to live as one of us. He had to be tempted as one of us and feel pain and sorrow and grief as one of us so He could completely identify with our weaknesses. He did all of these and much more during the time that He was here to fulfill the prophecies about Him and to bring a message to those who would listen. He healed many diseases and raised some from the dead and He restored the sight to some, hearing to others, and the ability to speak to others.

Jesus also multiplied a boy’s lunch to feed over five thousand people and He calmed a storm on the sea just by saying “Peace, be still”. He even walked on the water to come to His disciples while they were in that storm. No ordinary man could do these things! He was much more than a prophet, He was the Son of God and the Savior of the world!

Be kind…

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:32 NIV https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/eph.4.32/274

This is a message that all of us should take into our lives each day. Many times we are hurt by what someone says or by something that they do and sometimes this happens more often than it should. Christ said that we are forgiven but we should also forgive each other. Sometimes those faults or slights that happen, on a daily basis for some, are unintentional and sometimes they aren’t but we should forgive and seek forgiveness just as Jesus did for those who crucified Him. Remember, it was our sins that nailed Him to that cross and He forgave us anyway.
