If you are wondering, we truly are living in the end times. Every day something else proves it. Whether it’s a new war or a natural disaster or some “pestilence” like COVID, all of these “birth-pains” were foretold long ago.
Have you decided to give your heart to Jesus yet or are you waiting for some other “messiah”? He’s the only One who can bring salvation to your heart and eternity in heaven too. Believe in Jesus for your salvation before it’s too late. Don’t be fooled by other religions, because He’s the only Son of God and He paid the price for your salvation. All you need to do is believe in Him!
All of the disasters and problems that are happening around the world. They are stressful for many people, especially for those directly involved. Diseases, severe weather, wars, drought, what is going on? This has all been foretold in God’s Word.
We are in the End Times. The Tribulation won’t start until the church is taken up to be with the Lord but the “birth pains” leading up to that time are happening now. That is what we are going through today and every day until He comes for us. God has a plan for all of creation and one day soon it will unfold for the entire world to see and know. Some will realize exactly what is happening and some will make up all sorts of stories to explain it except what has been prophesied in the Bible.
Everything we are going through now is part of the “pains” that will bring more people to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Why does it work this way? Because suffering is what makes our faith grow. The world itself is suffering, nature and everything in it, because of mankind’s resistance to living by God’s rules. One day very soon He will make all things new again. It won’t be “soon” as we define it but it will be in His time.
I pray that everyone who has heard or read any sermon or even part of the Bible will seek Jesus to be their Lord and Savior because spending eternity away from your Creator and your Savior is a fate that is only reserved for Satan and his demons.
What’s something most people don’t understand?
People have heard sermons from it and heard or seen quotes from it but so many people don’t understand it at all. Many people don’t understand it because they have no idea what to think about it.
It’s not just a book. It’s the Word of God and it’s His testimony about His love for humanity. Whether you believe that the Earth was created six thousand years ago or 4.5 billion years ago, God had a hand in its design. Every element is balanced in such a way that if the ratio was off by a few percent we wouldn’t exist. That kind of precision doesn’t happen by chance.
The Bible also tells us the history of the Jewish people and their struggles. But if you look at it from a little bit farther out, it is God’s love story for all of us. He loves us so much that He sent Jesus as the ultimate passover Lamb to pay the penalty for all who will accept His grace and mercy through belief in Him. In our belief in Jesus, we are sanctified and forgiven so that we can come into God’s presence as adopted sons and daughters.
When Elijah was praying for the drought to come to an end, he sent his servant to see if God had answered seven times. It wasn’t until the seventh time that he came back and said there was a cloud the size of his hand visible in the sky. That’s when he went to the king of Israel and told him that the drought was over.
God uses people who believe in Him to accomplish His will and His purpose. He also uses little clouds to bring an end to a drought. God can do anything, even when people don’t expect Him to. Why don’t people believe that God can do these things… anything that He wants to do?
Today, there are too many people who have placed limits on God. They have put Him in a box that they have created for Him so that He is more relatable than the God of the Bible. In their minds He can only do certain things or rather He can only be God up to a point. We should not put limits on God but people do it all the time.
It’s a good thing for us that God doesn’t have limits on His love for us. I’m praying that more people will seek the Lord as their savior soon.
Even when we can’t see it happening, faith gives us the confidence that God will provide our needs. Hoping for His will to be done in our lives and having the faith to believe He will.
