God uses people to further His Kingdom. He doesn’t make you a popular person, in most cases, He will make your influence spread to places where He needs a voice. That is what I use this space for, to go places and tell people about the salvation awaiting them in Jesus Christ. God calls those who He knows will be able to get the message out.
When I began reading it over a decade ago, I had no idea what I would find. But God’s Word has so many different stories to tell. The main one is that He saves us from disaster and His wrath every time. In Genesis, God saved Noah and his family from the flood. This was the beginning of His salvation of mankind and the story continues through the rest of the Bible.
The story is not easy to pick out in some of the books, because it’s not written as a story in every book. But in some way, God does save a person or a group of his people in every book. Look for it and you will find God showing up at just the right moment.
This command is for all who believe in Jesus as their Savior. We should go and tell as many people as we can because God doesn’t want anyone to go to hell. Hell was created to punish Satan and the fallen angels with him, not us. But if you have turned away from Jesus or have decided to not believe in God at all and live your life that way, you will be sent to hell because of it. Your choice of turning from God sends you there, not God.
Telling others about the love of God for everyone and about Jesus Christ is our work as Christians. Living our life as Christians is also a good way to tell others about our Savior. Life doesn’t end with your life here, if you are a Christian, it continues on into eternity. It also continues if you are not a Christian, but in a very different place. Make sure of your eternal destination before this life ends.
