God’s justice is…

God loves you and His justice was placed on Jesus in your place. Seek Him for your salvation today.

God has given us what we need

The Lord is with you

Realize Who God is

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (Proverbs 1:7).

Have you thought about what this verse means? The fear of the Lord is not the same as fearing for your life. It is humility in the face of God and respect for the Creator of all things. The One that you owe your very breath and your life to is the One that you should fear and respect. He holds your life and your eternal future in His hands and if you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior then you are safe for all eternity.

Life is given to us as a gift from God. He formed each of us and knew us even before Jesus died for us. Yet, many people think they have control over their lives. While this is true for every person, God is in control whether you want to believe He is or not. Everything from the smallest atomic structure to the largest galaxy is maintained by God for His glory.

You can choose to believe in Him and Who He is or not, but your eternal home and destination is up to Him. Give your heart to Jesus and follow Him because one day the Trumpet is going to sound and the dead in Christ will rise and the church will be taken up and you should be counted in that group. If you are not, then you should give your heart to Him as soon as you can.

Watch what you say…

We all have gifts

Wisdom is the fear of the Lord

Trust the Lord

In Christ…

Fear is not fear

‭Proverbs 14:26-27 KJV‬ [26] In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: And his children shall have a place of refuge. [27] The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, To depart from the snares of death. https://bible.com/bible/1/pro.14.26-27.KJV

When I say that “fear is not fear”, I mean that the fear of the Lord is being respectful of Who He is. It is not fear in the same sense that you fear a wolf or a bear. God demands our respect and our obedience when He gives us commands. He expects us to be obedient but for most of the history recorded in the Bible, there was more disobedience than obedience. Even in the past two millennia, since Jesus’ ascension to Heaven, the church has had many more problems resulting from pride and greed than we have experienced in following Jesus’ commands.

The church has fractured into many denominations during this time as well. This is not what was intended at the beginning. The church was supposed to be unified in service to those who need Jesus and that ball was dropped. We need to get back to being the Church of Jesus Christ, following His commands and not trying to be better than the church down the street. We are not in a competition but we are supposed to be fulfilling our duty to each other.
