Dogs or cats?

I have had a dog ever since 1967. I didn’t fully appreciate how they helped me until I was in my thirties. I have three Dachshunds now and I couldn’t be happier.

Which activities make you lose track of time?

Most of my reading can distract me enough that I will easily lose track of the time. I stay away from scrolling through Facebook. I look at it to see what my friends are doing, but I don’t mindlessly scroll through every post to spy on others.

What are you most worried about for the future?

I mean… what’s the point? Worry only gives you ulcers and gray hair and it doesn’t accomplish anything. You’re just bringing tomorrow’s trouble into today.

Who would you like to talk to soon?

The last time I spoke to him was at our Dad’s funeral. That was in August of 2001. He refuses my texts and won’t take a call from me, so I don’t know what to do. I’m asking for your prayers about this because I can’t fix it.

Are you superstitious?

That’s like believing in the idea of evolution. It’s only an idea. God created the universe and everything in it. If you don’t believe that, then you likely don’t believe in God.

The Bible is God’s Word and He is in control of our world. Life is given to us as His blessing to each of us. We were a part of the world but if you have given your life to Jesus Christ, there’s nothing in the world that is useful for you.

Write about your dream home.

In this life, my dream home is out of reach. Even a small truck is out of reach today, so I will enjoy my family and the time that I have with them. I’m looking forward to the day when I am reunited with my family in Heaven. That will be where my dream home is.

What positive events have taken place in your life over the past year?

It’s an ongoing learning process but you learn so much about Him and what His Word says to each of us. Life teaches us hard lessons at times, sometimes we’re too hard headed to learn before the lesson hits us hard. I pray that you will seek God and Jesus Christ soon.

What will your life be like in three years?

I don’t plan for tomorrow except that I am going to vote if it is God’s will for me. There’s no reason to make plans three years ahead of us. We don’t know what tomorrow will bring, we can hope for prosperity to bring us to a good place in three years but it’s not a sure thing.

Is there an age or year of your life you would re-live?

I don’t want to re-live any part of my life. Every year my life was affected by the circumstances around me. Whether it was my parents divorce or the child support battles, growing up was not fun. So a do over, even if it was possible, will not be useful to me.
