All that we need to do is trust in His ability to give us the strength to get through whatever may be ahead of us. Regardless of how bad it may be, God knows the outcome already.
Because the father of our faith is Abraham and he believed:
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Romans 4:20-25 KJV
In the world that all of us live in today, those who celebrate Christmas need to remember that without the hope and the gift which God gave to the whole world through the birth of His Son, Jesus, our lives would be empty. There would be no hope for eternity. There would be no forgiveness of our sins or even the possibility of seeing the face of Jesus one day. If the Son had not come to Bethlehem on that night to live with us as one of us so He could die for the atonement of our sins…we would be totally without hope and most miserable.
Seek Him today to be your Savior because not one of us is guaranteed to have tomorrow. I may meet Jesus tonight or this afternoon and I know that my Savior lives. I know that I will see Him in person and face to face. Do you?
The shepherds heard the angel say “I bring you tidings of great joy!”. The Savior of the world was born and we celebrate it still. His birth may not have been on December 25th but the angels proclaimed it so that all would know one day that our Savior had come to us in the body of a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.
Make certain that you know Him and that He knows you before this life is over.
