You need to HEAR it!

The commandment that we should follow

The most important [commandment],” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
Mark 12:29-31

So why can’t the church live these Commandments today? Many people are hurting today, all over the world, because the Church isn’t doing this. We give money to corrupt organizations who take advantage of the people that we are trying to help and then we wonder why our donations didn’t help.

Praise God

Pray for all

I trust in God!

‭Psalm 143:8 KJV‬ [8] Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; For in thee do I trust: Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; For I lift up my soul unto thee. https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.143.8.KJV

Regardless of the situation that you may find yourself in, God is with you. If you haven’t accepted Jesus as your Savior, God is near but not protecting you in every situation. Many people think they are Christians if they go to church occasionally, but that is not the truth. When the Holy Spirit calls you to become a Christian He will convict you of your need for Jesus. It is your choice to answer that call. Whether you answer it that day or not, you may not have another chance to answer it because we are not given tomorrow…only today.

God’s power brings salvation

The Deliverer

What do you know of Jesus Christ? Most of us, including me, only know what we have heard or read in the New Testament and that is a beginning. But there is so much more in the Old Testament prophets that tell of His character and of the things that He will do. Most of which He fulfilled during His time on Earth at His advent. Other prophecies point to His second coming and His rule as King during the one-thousand-year reign after the Tribulation.

Jesus is the Son of God and He was present at the beginning when everything was created. Even at that point, He knew that He would have to pay for the sins of mankind but we don’t look at it that way. We don’t even consider Jesus’s existence until He is born in Bethlehem. But, He shows up as the Angel of the Lord many times during Genesis and in the pillar of fire and in Daniel with the three Hebrew men who were thrown into a fiery furnace.

God shows up as a Deliverer in many ways today in our times of need. He is always close to those who have accepted Him as their Savior but He is also near to those who are about to be called into His family. You may not know that He is about to call you but you will know when He calls.

Look up…

Feeling empty?

I have been preoccupied with a problem on my website since early January. Mainly because most of the so-called “fix it” sites tell me there is nothing wrong but I know there is. Anyway, my focus today is how many of us are trapped. Some of us by our feelings and some because of their fame and fortune. Trapped by being unable to do the things that others can and many take for granted. Even friends don’t notice that there are limitations to our lives, particularly my life.

I’m not going to begin this as a “pity party” and I know it sounds that way but the limitations that we all have tend to keep us in bondage…sort of. These limitations are because of our beliefs, whether in Jesus or the fulfillment of the prophecies in God’s Word that we see happening all around us today but we shouldn’t be anxious about these things. We can do nothing to change any of them, and they will happen anyway because God has ordained that they will.

Our society, especially in America, has always been focused on individuality. The lone cowboy or the policeman/woman who saves the day. The soldier who saves his platoon from a really bad situation. All of these are heroes in my opinion and they all deserve credit for what they have done but each of us is not enough in most instances. Yes, these brave people have been able to do things that many of us couldn’t do but God gave them the bravery to accomplish those tasks. We are not able to meet every situation on our own because if God is your Savior you are not alone…ever. He is always there with you giving you strength and the courage to get through whatever life throws at you.

God is walking with you every day if you are a Christian, and He is with you during the good days and the bad ones. If you don’t know Jesus as your Savior then you need to seek Him out to be your Savior. Search the Bible for Him. In the New Testament, He completes His mission and gives each of us a way to be adopted into God’s family. Why do I say that all of us need Him? Because it is true. If you have ever felt an emptiness in your life, even in yourself, that you couldn’t explain and have ever wondered how to fill that spot…Jesus is the only way to fill it. God placed a longing in each of us and it isn’t for people or sex or drugs or anything the world has to offer. It can only be filled by Jesus Christ. Seek Him before something bad happens because none of us know when our last day on Earth is.

We are justified…
