Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?
I don’t play pranks on my wife but we do occasionally say things that we understand are just loving jabs. Done with love for each other. We’ve been together for 32 years and I pray that others will be committed enough to learn to love your partner and stay together.
Don’t believe everything
Are there false prophets/preachers in the world today? Absolutely! Many agree with the socially and spiritually backward and they are preaching in a pulpit and leading whole congregations to hell! I don’t know any personally, but the time that we live in invites false teachers and it was prophesied two thousand years ago that this would happen.
The most joyful that you can be about this is because Jesus lives and God is in control of all of His Creation, those false teachers won’t be able to change one iota of your destiny. If you believe in Jesus as your Savior then your future is safe and secure and no person on Earth can change it. I pray that everyone who reads this will seek Jesus as their Savior before it is too late because no one is promised tomorrow.

What a year!
In late 2022 there was something called chatGPT that came out. The AI part of it was shown to have promise and in just over a year AI has gotten to be just as smart as Albert Einstein. What will it do in the next year or even the next? Nobody knows for sure. This past year has seen so much happen. There have been so many people giving their lives to Jesus in America and around the world until it is…not scary but heartwarming. This is something that I have prayed about for many years.
Then there are the violence issues with people using whatever they have at hand to inflict harm on other people. They usually use guns, of course, but if they have to use cars or knives they will use them too. Of course, we can’t forget the conflicts going on all over the world about one thing or another, specifically in Israel and Ukraine. Life seems to have lost any meaning to people whether they are young or old or in between.
I am praying that this year will see a new and wider revival of people coming to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. I don’t want to even go into the “political” arenas because it seems that the different “sides” will never really agree on anything and they will just keep bashing each other in one way or another. Lord Jesus, please come soon.

What relationships have a positive impact on you?
What do I mean by that? Relationships that give advice rather than tell you what to do. People who can give you direction but refrain from getting in your way.
Sometimes parents fall into this category but many times they try to get their children to fulfill their dreams rather than listening to their children. Teach without pushing your ideas. Help without doing everything for your children. Make sure they know Who is in control rather than letting them go their own way. God’s Word says that we’re responsible for teaching our children about Him and His commandments for life so they know what they are supposed to do or not do.
