God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, And though the mountains are carried into the midst of the sea; Psalm 46:1-2 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.46.1-2.KJV
He is always near us when we have given our hearts to Him. Yet, there are many people who seem to be worried about today or tomorrow and what they might bring. Jesus told His disciples not to worry about their food or what they needed to wear because God would provide. The birds and other animals don’t know what “worry” is because they know God will provide for them. God gives us the air we breathe and every heartbeat for our lives…because He loves us.
Jesus came to Bethlehem as a baby but His coming was foretold nearly 800 years before He came. God even told Adam and Eve that “the Seed of the woman would crush the serpent’s head” and this was a prophecy of His birth and victory on the cross a few thousand years before He came. He knew that Jesus would have to come to pay for the sins of humanity and that He was the only one that could pay that penalty.
