Why do you blog?
God called me to be a preacher, so since my church is closed I tell His Story here. God loves you more than you know, seek to know Him while you can.
What do you love about where you live?
Most of the time. During the week there’s quite a few gravel trucks going back and forth but when they stop, I enjoy listening to the birds and the crickets at night. No gunshots or police sirens.
What brings you peace?
That is the only way to real peace in this world. We all have trouble and trials that we are going through but knowing Jesus as your Savior brings you peace that you can’t describe. No matter what is happening around you, your eternity is settled in Him.
What is the most important thing to carry with you all the time?
I know some people will say, “Hold on, I can’t carry a Bible everywhere I go!” You can if you read it daily and have at least some of it memorized. How else could you use it to defend yourself when temptation comes along? Think about it.
What change, big or small, would you like your blog to make in the world?
That’s the sole purpose I had in mind when I started this.
Describe one habit that brings you joy.
70’s music…any genre, but especially rock and roll.
What are your future travel plans?
We can barely afford groceries let alone going on any kind of trip. Hopefully that might change soon.
What do you think gets better with age?
You become wise as you age IF you have learned from your mistakes in the past.
What strategies do you use to increase comfort in your daily life?
also… run the air conditioner because it’s hot in Mississippi during the summer.😊
