Let God’s justice run…

His purposes always prevail

He is my fortress

Be humble…

We are called…

Jesus came to each disciple individually. In their situation and in their life, He came to them where they were. He came in their problems and in their need. We are called to be His followers and live our lives as though He is walking with us and is…every day! People need to know this and see Him in their lives when it is going good and when it is not going well at all.

Jesus loves us and He is with us in every situation. When He called Nathaniel to be His disciple, Nathaniel didn’t know that He was with him in his situation until Jesus told him that He saw him under the fig tree before he came to meet Him.

Jesus Calls Philip and Nathanael

43 On the next day He desired to go forth into Galilee. And He finds Philip. And Jesus says to him, “Follow Me.” 44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, from the city of Andrew and Peter.

45 Philip Finds Nathanael and says to him, “We have found Him whom Moses wrote of in the Law, also the prophets, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

46 And Nathanael said to him, “Is any good thing able to be out of Nazareth?”

Philip says to him, “Come and see.”

47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and He says concerning him, “Behold, truly an Israelite, in whom there is no deceit.”

48 Nathanael asks, “From where do You know me?”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, you being under the fig tree, I saw you.”

49 Nathanael answered Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are King of Israel.”

God loves us on our good days and our not-so-good days. I pray that anyone who reads this will seek Jesus to be their Savior.

Bless those who hate you

Service…

Life, as a Christian, should be a life of service. One in which you serve the church that you attend and you also serve Jesus every day. There will be some days that your service to Him may be impacted by your job or even family responsibilities, but in the end, your service to those around you should always reflect your Savior, Jesus Christ. If it doesn’t then you need to check with the Bible and pray about the genuineness of your faith in Him.

Being His servant in this life is not something that is negotiable. I mean, Jesus gave His life to save you from an eternity of pain. The least you could do in this life is to tell others what He did for you. God loved us enough that He gave His Son’s life to pay the penalty for your sins and mine and everyone else’s too.

God gave us His Word to learn from and to know how much we are loved by Him. Doesn’t it seem that we should at least tell one person about the sacrifice that Jesus gave for us to be adopted into God’s family?

All scripture is from God

There’s nothing that God can’t do!

Designed to be useful

It doesn’t matter what your talent is or how you look, God made each of us the way we are to use us in His Kingdom effectively every day.
