Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. Romans 4:18-21 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/rom.4.18-21.KJV
Paul wrote this speaking of Abram before he became a father by the power of God. He believed God could do whatever He intended and reckoned it to him as righteousness. Why is it so hard for us to believe in God’s promises and what He can do even today? I believe that the reason for our unbelief is due to so many people turning away from the Bible and believing in God. Yet, even someone who doesn’t believe in God will turn to Him in a time of desperation.
Is it so hard to believe that every prophecy in the Bible has already come true with the exception of the book of Revelation? Even those prophecies are coming to pass right before our eyes today. At least the ones at the very beginning of the book. God loves His creation and that includes all of humanity but He is not pleased with the way we are living and being “stewards” of the world He gave us. We have messed it up in many ways and this won’t change until Jesus comes back to rule the Earth and its people for one thousand years.
I pray that anyone who reads this page will seek to know Jesus as your Savior before the Trumpet of God sounds because there will be a terrible time after that for seven years during the Tribulation. Life will get much worse and harder to seek out God because of the “ruler” that will be here at that time. Don’t turn away from God, seek Him while there is time.
