When Elijah was praying for the drought to come to an end, he sent his servant to see if God had answered seven times. It wasn’t until the seventh time that he came back and said there was a cloud the size of his hand visible in the sky. That’s when he went to the king of Israel and told him that the drought was over.
God uses people who believe in Him to accomplish His will and His purpose. He also uses little clouds to bring an end to a drought. God can do anything, even when people don’t expect Him to. Why don’t people believe that God can do these things… anything that He wants to do?
Today, there are too many people who have placed limits on God. They have put Him in a box that they have created for Him so that He is more relatable than the God of the Bible. In their minds He can only do certain things or rather He can only be God up to a point. We should not put limits on God but people do it all the time.
It’s a good thing for us that God doesn’t have limits on His love for us. I’m praying that more people will seek the Lord as their savior soon.
Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: And I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; And for comforters, but I found none. They gave me also gall for my meat; And in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink. Psalm 69:20-21 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.69.20-21.KJV
This was fulfilled by Jesus on the day of His crucifixion. God knew then what was needed in order to pay the bill for our sins. The death and resurrection of Jesus was the only way to reconcile our sins so that we could have a place in Heaven if we will believe in Him for our salvation.
Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships. I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King. Isaiah 43:14-15 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.43.14-15.KJV
He is our Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, and the Lion of Judah who will show up in the sky! Jesus is coming soon to take the church to be with Him. Make sure your salvation and your faith are in Him.
