What’s a common misconception people have about happiness?
It seems that most people think that happiness depends on the amount of money you have or even the amount of stuff that you have. Happiness is fleeting and it is dependent on different things for each person.
For some, it may be security. For some it might be their job and the security it brings (money). Happiness fluctuates almost daily for some people.
I look at being happy as a reflection of the joy I have in my relationship with Jesus Christ. Nothing can take it from me, regardless of what may be happening around me. So… my joy is what gives me happiness.
