The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. Nahum 1:7 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/nam.1.7.KJV
People seem to want to know and be known by God but they’re afraid of being rejected by their peers if they became a Christian. It’s sad that people seem to value the opinions of others more than they fear the result of rejecting Jesus Christ as their Savior. The opinion of people only lasts for this life, but rejecting Jesus has eternal consequences.
Our lives are just a puff of smoke compared to eternity, even if you live to be one hundred years old. The result of your rejecting Jesus Christ as your Savior is the same as turning your back on God’s grace and the result is not good for your eternity. Hell has always been described as a lake of fire, and it will be, but it will also be a place where there’s no water, not will there be any presence of God there. No comfort, no friends, only darkness and pain for an eternity.
Make sure of your salvation before the day is through because no one is guaranteed to wake up tomorrow. He is coming soon, so don’t miss that trumpet call.
