Many of our nativity scenes and setups during this season show a baby lying in a trough with a mother and father looking on along with the animals and some wise men or shepherds too. My question is: How do you see the baby? What is your perception of the Son of God in this instance?
So, even though the trough which our Lord lay in wasn’t as nice as this one, He came to be the Savior of the world. Because of His love for each of us…that is the reason He came. Not for glory or fame or money (He is the Creator, after all, it was all created by Him), He came to be the Passover Lamb of God Who paid the debts which He didn’t owe for all of us if we will believe in Him and His sacrifice.
Merry Christmas to all of you!
