Thou art my God!

Do you tell your “friends” about your Savior? By that I mean do they know, can they tell that you are a Christian? Or do you just act that way on Sunday?

Does Jesus Christ really know you or do you just know about Him? Jesus said that on that last day there will be people who will say “Lord didn’t we cast out demons in your name?” And yet I will say to them “I never knew you”. Would you want to be in that group? I wouldn’t.

Jesus Christ paid the price for everyone, so if you believe in Him for your salvation then you are saved.

God told his prophets what to say


All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16‭-‬17 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2ti.3.16-17.KJV

The church today is afraid. We are afraid of this disease, we are afraid of going to church and being fined because we’re there. God is in control regardless of the situation. But…we need to put our faith to work and believe that He will bring us through this trial. He will do that but we have to believe that He will and we need to fully trust Him to do it.

God gives us His peace


And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/php.4.7.KJV

Peace is something that is not easy to find these days. Every time the news comes on, our peace is taken away. All of the things going on in the world and the way they are reported takes your peace away. Lean on God and His Word every day, not just on Sunday!

From the heart comes the truth of your beliefs


The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jer.17.9.KJV

The heart of mankind is where your true self lives. If you have given your heart to Jesus, then you are a new creation. If you haven’t your heart can deceive you into thinking that you are a Christian when you are not.

There have been some preachers who have been to school and seminary and yet they found that one day they were not saved. You can go through the motions and still not be saved! God knows your heart, but your own heart can trick you into thinking that you are saved even though it’s a lie.

Seek your Savior, Jesus, while there’s time to do so. If you’re still breathing you can still come to Christ. Amen

Do you consider yourself wise?


Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. James 3:13 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jas.3.13.KJV

Thinking that you are wise is arrogant. Even those who have many degrees from a prestigious university are foolish in God’s sight. God is the Creator and he placed each star in each galaxy yet he calls them by their names. He did all of this and He still knows how many hairs there are on your head and mine.

He is what our world needs


For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. 1 Timothy 2:5‭-‬6 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1ti.2.5-6.KJV

Jesus Christ paid the price for all of our sins. Seek Him for your salvation today.

Choose this day whom you will serve…

Our own desires can bring us down


But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. James 1:14 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jas.1.14.KJV

If you don’t think it can happen to you, think about what is tempting you and where that idea came from. YOUR own thoughts and desires are amplified by Satan. That’s why we need to have more of God’s Word inside our minds than those tempting thoughts. Stay near God and He will be even closer to you.
