Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: Romans 15:5 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/rom.15.5.KJV
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. Matthew 6:7-8 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.6.7-8.KJV
God knows what you need but He enjoys hearing from you as well. Ask Him for your needs, tell Him your problems, look at His creation around you and know that He is in control.
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? Micah 6:8 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mic.6.8.KJV
But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. Psalms 59:16 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.59.16.KJV
Stay close to God because He is your Protector and your Savior.
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalms 16:11 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.16.11.KJV
He gives us fullness of joy as we walk the pathway with Him. It’s our decision to walk with Him.
O Lord , thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. Isaiah 25:1 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.25.1.KJV
Do you tell your “friends” about your Savior? By that I mean do they know, can they tell that you are a Christian? Or do you just act that way on Sunday?
Does Jesus Christ really know you or do you just know about Him? Jesus said that on that last day there will be people who will say “Lord didn’t we cast out demons in your name?” And yet I will say to them “I never knew you”. Would you want to be in that group? I wouldn’t.
Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah. Psalms 85:2 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.85.2.KJV
Jesus Christ paid the price for everyone, so if you believe in Him for your salvation then you are saved.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2ti.3.16-17.KJV
The church today is afraid. We are afraid of this disease, we are afraid of going to church and being fined because we’re there. God is in control regardless of the situation. But…we need to put our faith to work and believe that He will bring us through this trial. He will do that but we have to believe that He will and we need to fully trust Him to do it.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/php.4.7.KJV
Peace is something that is not easy to find these days. Every time the news comes on, our peace is taken away. All of the things going on in the world and the way they are reported takes your peace away. Lean on God and His Word every day, not just on Sunday!
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jer.17.9.KJV
The heart of mankind is where your true self lives. If you have given your heart to Jesus, then you are a new creation. If you haven’t your heart can deceive you into thinking that you are a Christian when you are not.
There have been some preachers who have been to school and seminary and yet they found that one day they were not saved. You can go through the motions and still not be saved! God knows your heart, but your own heart can trick you into thinking that you are saved even though it’s a lie.
Seek your Savior, Jesus, while there’s time to do so. If you’re still breathing you can still come to Christ. Amen
