Right where I am

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I’m turning 63 this fall and I don’t see myself doing anything different in the next decade. Taking care of my family and waiting for the Lord to come.

How to…

Describe something you learned in high school.

Be quiet enough to not be noticed. I also learned that I really didn’t like school.

Swimming

What’s the most fun way to exercise?

I enjoy swimming more than any other exercise.

At one time…

What job would you do for free?

I would work on computers for free. But today, the parts are getting more expensive and people will just go buy a new computer before having one fixed. Even in the last year I was actively working in a shop, people would just not pay for the work that we had done and that was in 2012.

Today, I will help someone with viruses and other problems with their computers but I only charge the same price as I did in 2012. It’s not worth my time to work for free because it’s not appreciated.

Yes!

How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic?

I mostly ignore them.🙂

I didn’t think about it much

When you were five, what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was five, my parents got divorced. My world was torn apart and I wasn’t concerned with growing up. That didn’t come to my mind for a few years. I’m 62 now and it’s a bit late to think about. I went through many different jobs as I “grew up”. God has always been in control so it all worked out. Have a great day.

Almost every day

How often do you say “no” to things that would interfere with your goals?

There are days that I don’t have to say no to anything but sometimes it’s hard to turn away from even small things. That’s when I have to rely on the Lord to help me say no.

Tell people…

What do you wish you could do more every day?

About my Savior! This medium allows me to put His message on the Internet but being disabled I don’t have the ability to get out in the world to spread the Good News about Jesus Christ. I do pray that more people will see and read my posts here.

I read the poems of David

What strategies do you use to cope with negative feelings?

When I’m feeling sad or depressed, I go to the Psalms. If it’s a period of depression that lasts longer than expected, I will read my way through the entire book because the wisdom found in them is far more restorative than any other way. Even if it is the loss of someone dear to me, I still read the Psalms because God’s wisdom always comforts me.

How can I answer this?

What movies or TV series have you watched more than 5 times?

As for TV series, we watch Blue Bloods and have since it began about 14 years ago. I’ve been watching NCIS for about 20 years.

Movies: Star Wars, Star Trek, I’ve watched all of them
