What would you do if you won the lottery?

If I got a ticket that actually won the big prize, whatever it was, I would make sure to pay off all of my debts first. Then, I will give at least ten percent to my church and to Christians United for Israel. Then make sure of my taxes and other government responsibilities. After that, I will put up enough to take care of my family. After that, I might go on an actual vacation. Ya’ll have fun!

What do you enjoy doing most in your leisure time?

Reading. I read a few chapters in the Bible every day, then I have a few books on my Kindle that I’m reading. If I can find a good movie to watch I’ll watch it and then I also do Mahjong puzzles on my Kindle before going to bed.

What makes a good leader?

Humility. Someone who can recognize when they are wrong, apologize for it and then move on.

EV batteries!

If you could un-invent something, what would it be?

They don’t work well in cold weather!

Of course I can!

Can you share a positive example of where you’ve felt loved?

I always feel loved at home and at church too. Love is found in those places most of the time. Have a wonderful day!

A dog…

What is your favorite animal?

Specifically, Dachshunds. I became attached to this breed in 2005 when we got our first, Trixie, and I don’t believe I would want any other breed. They are loyal companions and they show their love to those who love them. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a standard, a miniature or the one that is called a rabbit, they are all loving and protective to their humans.

What are your thoughts on the concept of living a very long life?

We’re supposed to take care of our parents, honor them and it will add years to your life. Look it up if you want because it’s one of the Ten Commandments.

To tell others

What is your mission?

When I was called to preach in 2011, that was and is still my calling. God doesn’t take back His calling. Just as the oath I took when I joined the Air Force forty-three years ago, that oath has not been taken back.

My mission is to let as many people know about my Savior as I can. If you don’t want to read it, don’t. God loves you whether you know it or not. He sent Jesus Christ to pay for all of humanity’s sins and when you realize that you need Him, ask Him to forgive you and to make your heart receptive to His Spirit. You will be changed to be more like Him and your life will never be the same.

Lots of things…

What could you do differently?

It depends on what we’re talking about doing? I could cook breakfast differently but why? It turns out the same most of the time.

I could tell more people about my Savior and I do that here. God called me to be a preacher and this blog is the best place to be. I’ve been doing this for ten years so let me know what I need to change.

The future…

Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?

Because the past is done and thinking about it can’t do anything except cause stress and sometimes regret. Tomorrow isn’t here yet but you can think about it and plan although I wouldn’t plan too far ahead. None of us know for sure if we will be here tonight, so think about where you want to spend eternity more than you think and worry about things you can’t do anything about.
