Give generously and reap generously

There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. Proverbs 11:24 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/pro.11.24.KJV

Tithes should be given with a generous heart, then God can reward you generously. When you withhold what should be given, God can too.
